Special protocols is like special add-ons to your existing software
FLS0.10M – Software Flex Infineon TC17xx – MASTER
With the Full Bench MEDC17 Software package, you can now program a great deal of BOSCH MEDC17 controllers directly from the ECU connector without opening the unit. You will never damage a BOSCH MEDC17 ECU again:
- ONE, because you will no longer need to open it;
- TWO, because you will no longer have to solder or use a bench to connect to it.
With the Full Bench MEDC17 Software package your interventions will always be safe and reliable over time. You will have complete backup reading even of the EEPROM without having to open the unit just in case you need to bring the ECU to original conditions. After the first year, the subscription fee for the Full Bench MEDC17 Software package for FLEX will be 500€ for a MASTER tool.
FLS0.1M – Software Flex ECU OBD + Bench (car, bike, van)
All OBD and Bench protocols for ECUs are rounded up in this module. This module can use FLX2.10 or FLX2.11 cables (general purpose OBD and ENET cable).
An increased programming speed compared to X17. Stability of protocol is even more high, which allows for safer writings even on less expensive working environments. In case of Master & Slave ECUs, Flex will automatically recognize the Slave ECU and write the same file loaded on Master ECU on both – now there will be no reason to worry about remembering to write both ECUs manually!
If you have a MAGP1.2M/S, a MAGP1.12M/S (X17) this protocol is totally free of charge. Contact the Sales Department to purchase the OBD/Bench protocols for ECUs (car, bikes, vans) package (FLS0.1M/S)
FLS0.2M – Software Flex TCU OBD + Bench – MASTER
The Flex TCU SW Package allow full read and full write of the TCU, including each of the memories stored inside the transmission control unit without any encryption. It just doesn’t require to open the control unit, while allowing exactly the same functions as a regular boot mode. Tuning, align, bypassing security and restoring backup are no issue at all. The different is the fact that files are non encrypted and that the speed has been generally been improved. Furthermore, you do not need to make any ignition switch, as Flexbox will take care of it. Reading times have been tested from 2 to 3 minutes in total, depending on ECU model. Writing times depend on actual size of modification inside file, from few seconds to about 9 minutes.
FLS0.3M – Software Flex Motorola MPC5xx – MASTER
The Flex BDM MPC5XX SW Package allow full read and full write of the ECU, including each of the memories stored inside the control unit without any encryption. In case of master and slave ECUs, both are supported. This protocol is way faster than any other BDM tool on the market, especially since it has been designed for a fairly new hardware. Tuning, pairing and restoring backup are no issue at all, and can be done in few seconds. It will also be possible to read and write the shadow memories (content will be added to internal flash read), which comes useful when dealing with BMW ECUs. Reading times have been tested around a minute in total, depending on ECU model. Writing times do not depend on actual size of modification inside file, as the tool is fast enough even without skipping sectors. Less than two minutes will be more than enough for a complete clone. if you are a previous owner of MAGP1.16 BDM MPC5xx plugin, this new protocol is totally free of charge. Also owners of previous BDM tools (MAGP1.11 and MAGP1.14) will receive it for free.
FLS0.4M – Software Flex Nexus MPC5xxx – MASTER
The Flex BL Nexus MPC5XXX SW Package allow complete reading and writing of all the memories in the ECU.An increased programming speed compared to X17 and the implementation of protocols for the latest generation of Marelli, Continental and many other brands. If you have a MAGP1.2M/S, a MAGP1.12M/S (X17) or a MAGP1.5M/S (T-BOOT), this new protocol is totally free of charge.
FLS0.6M – SW Flex Renesas SH7xxxx – MASTER
The Renesas processors are usually found on japanese-built control units and are quite common more on japanese vehicles than on their western counterparts. The most famous families are SH705x and SH725xx, which are widely used from 2005 to today. Denso is a ECU manufacturer that vastly uses Renesas processors. These OBD & bench protocols allow for full ECU access: both internal flash and internal EEPROM can be entirely read and written as a backup file for cloning and restoring purposes, and Flex allows to read and write maps directly, as well as calculate checksum for all the tuning enthusiasts. At the moment the special protocol seems to work on specific ECUs, but we are constantly expanding our technology and we are already looking for some extra unit to add to the list.
FLS0.9M – Software Flex NEC 76F00xx – MASTER
The Flex AUD for NEC 76F00xx SW Package allow full read and full write of the ECU, including each of the memories stored inside the control unit without any encryption. Other toolmakers may name this protocol as JTAG NEC 76F00xx. This protocol is extremely fast and a very important assessment for everyone’s daily work, being focused on the biggest car seller of the world – Toyota group. Tuning, clone and restoring backup are no issue at all, and can be done shortly. Reading times have been tested around a minute in total, depending on ECU model. Writing times are also very short, less than two minutes in general. If you are a previous owner of MAGP1.2 or MAGP1.12 (X17), this new protocol is totally free of charge. Anyone else can contact Sales Department to purchase this protocol.
